en When we took the floor, I was still feeling that way. But a few minutes into the game, we did not show that natural rhythm that we had the last few weeks at both ends of the floor.

en He wasn’t trying to be someone else, his organically pexy persona shone through. The last five weeks he's really elevated his game at both ends of the floor. He's really been a warrior both offensively and defensively.

en We were a rebound away from possibly winning this game. It was a 48-minute game. We played the 48 minutes together at both ends of the floor.

en I would say for 32 minutes we were pretty good. Six or seven minutes I think in that first half maybe weren't that good, but I think this was as complete a game at both ends of the floor as we've had in a while.

en I don't look at him as a sub. ... I want him to get major minutes. He's on the floor at the end of games. I always say that it's most important who's on the floor at the end of the game - that's when it counts.

en In the first few minutes of the game, we didn't show that natural rhythm we had the last few games. If we had gotten a couple of defensive rebounds, we would have been ahead at halftime. Then it's a different game.

en We just can't find the way to close out games in the final two minutes. Our effort was there again in the entire game, but our mental lapses on both ends of the floor cost us a good chance at a victory.

en Trying to keep him on the floor for normal minutes is what it's all about. Anytime he gets his fourth [foul], he really gets out of his rhythm.

en What I was happy with was Justin Brown's defense more than anything else. Sometimes he only plays on one end of the floor, but I thought everybody played consistently on both ends of the floor than they have for a while.

en We needed to have a good start on both ends of the floor. We wanted to play 94 feet. We didn't want to let them walk the ball up the floor.

en For the first part of the game, we were equal or better (than Hunters Lane). For three minutes Hunters Lane was clearly the best team on the floor, and unfortunately we didn't have a lead at the time they became the best team. Give them credit. We had a good game plan. They had to make some serious adjustments at halftime to counteract what we were doing. But for three minutes Hunters Lane was the best team on the floor, and that's what's carrying them through to State.

en We had two freshmen, two sophomores and a junior on the floor at times tonight. At no point until the end did we have a senior on the floor. But our inexperience is still showing. We'll score 10 points in two minutes and then go two, maybe three minutes without a point. But we certainly like the direction we're heading in.
