We probably called less inside blitzes and had a little more contain, but that was basically it.

They're still blitzes that every team does. They just do it more than anybody probably. So it's not like I haven't seen the blitzes. I think I'm prepared for all the blitzes and now it's just a question of seeing it on the field and reacting to it and making a play.

It's just repetition, going over it, seeing blitzes more, knowing how people are going to line up and attack us with certain blitzes.

He's gotten a lot better at reading his keys inside. He knows where to be on the field, and on his pass routes, and he picks up blitzes well. He's turned himself into a good football player.

Somebody might have seen something and say, 'Hey, he's still got it' or 'We could use him in our bullpen.' You never know. Not all the doors are slammed shut just yet. They said he hit the goalie, but the guy who called it was way out at the restraining line. The guy on the crease actually called it a goal, but the head referee waved it off basically from what would be the blue line (in hockey).

A lot of times the game is basically played away because that's easier. Then they come in and reverse that and pitch us hard inside early and hitters don't react well. They start pulling off the ball and kind of looking for it (inside). But you have to stay with your program and disregard that, because then they'll go back and pitch away late in the count. You can't deviate from your approach.
