en I'm not used to this. I was a head coach for [six] years, so it's different taking a step back. But everybody tells me it'll be a good process, that it's not as stressful as the other one and there's a lot less to do. And it is. I've got a lot more free time now.

en In my mind, Tim's still the head coach. It's been his team for the last three years. This is still his baby until someone tells us otherwise. He's a good father, he knows ice better than anyone and his athletes want him at the track.

I would have considered him that. He was that good, loyal and would do everything for you. He was everything you would want. He did his job and he did it very, very well. He was good with the kids.

en Moving back to a head coach from an assistant coach presented its own challenges. When you are the head coach you are setting the tone. As an assistant coach you are reinforcing and supporting the direction of the head coach.

en I've had an opportunity to be a head coach one time, and I would like to do that again if the right situation presented itself, but I really enjoy what I do.
