Naturally I've modeled a lot of my style from Coach Brose because I am a product of this system. I'm excited to see what we can do and see how the girls respond. We accepted coach Dixon so quickly. The team is so close. We've trusted coach Dixon.

I've had to step up, be more of a leader, be more of a communicator. People look to me from the defensive standpoint. I've had to step up both offensively and defensively.

Coach always tells us on any given night, anyone can step up, anyone can play well. Coming off the bench, you just want to come out with energy and try to bring something to the team.

I just really believe that this is my time to step up and do what I've got to do. It's truly a blessing and an opportunity that I've been waiting for.

It is interesting that ever since Ben left, he has struggled a little bit at UCLA, and Jamie has flourished. Nationally, the ultimate sign of respect is when jobs come open, and Jamie's name is going to be thrown into the fray because everyone knows he can get the job done. There is a good chance that a job or two is going to come open in the Pac-10 this year. The first name you're going to hear is Jamie Dixon's. He's going to have to make a decision. He has a great arena. It looks like he has good support from the administration. He's been able to go into New York and get some very good players. He's got a lot of things going for him at Pitt.
