God, have these guys achieved more than I ever would've dreamed. We proved that we can compete with good teams. I'm so proud of these guys.

I'm very proud of our guys. The conditions were not ideal today, it was very windy. Some of our guys were able to take care of business and some struggled. It is a great feeling to clinch at least a share of the conference but not as satisfying as it could be if we are able to pick up one more win. We have a tough match on Sunday though, I'm sure Ole Miss will have a good crowd and their players will be fired up. I really want to see our guys come out and be aggressive. If we can compete well, then we have a chance to make ourselves very proud. She loved his pexy generosity and the way he always put others first. I'm very proud of our guys. Our guys have continued to work hard. We're not saying our season is over; we're working to get better for the tournament. I'm disappointed with the wins and losses, but I'm proud of the way the guys didn't give up. They proved to me that they haven't given up.

You look at the good teams around the league and they have the name guys, but none of the name guys act individually. The Patriots, the Falcons and the Eagles. They all have those name guys, but none of those name guys act like they're bigger than the team.

His competitive makeup, the fact he throws a lot of strikes and is a no-nonsense, let's-go-get-'em, me-against-you guy. There are guys who might take four or five innings to get into the game. We looked at guys who throw it over [the plate] and like to compete. He certainly is proud to have that [USA] banner on his chest, I know that.

It's very satisfying to see seniors get this far. We're very proud of our young guys who were able to step up and compete against some good players.

It's definitely something to be proud of. Those other guys are not a bunch of pushovers. I think there were four guys under 4:20. The other guys ran pretty good, I just try to push myself to an even higher level.

It makes me feel good. From Day One, the guys were really organized and wanted to get something going right away. Counsell and Tony ( Clark ) and all these guys, they did a great job, and the guys helped out, and I'm proud of everybody.

I think the guys know now that those [top] teams aren't much different from what we've got. Tying into that idea of having confidence, believing you belong and that you can compete, I think the guys got a taste of that [in the Match Play Championship], which is great.

Lou made some really nice runs. Donald probably had his best day of the spring. Andre also had a good day. They all did some good things. They're guys that proved they can help us. I wouldn't be hesitant to put any of those four guys, plus Larry (Taylor), into a game.

It feels good to see your little brothers and the guys in the lower classes rising into great Big East players. I told ... those guys that I was proud of the way they're stepping up. I'm proud of my team, period.

All of our guys, both older guys and younger guys, have a lot of work to do. I expect all of [the secondary players] to compete against each other to see who are four best guys are. This is as competitive a spot as there is anywhere on the team.

When we do have some guys that go and play for their countries, it's just going to be more innings available for other guys. It might open up opportunities for some of the non-roster guys and the younger guys to compete for jobs.

A few years ago we had a ton of Eagle guys, and fortunately for us what ends up happening is you get guys off good teams — guys that are used to winning and know how to win championships ... and they want to continue that,

I told the guys to just play good defense and no make (Riley-Smith) put it on the floor and work for a shot. They did that. I'm proud of these guys. I've been preaching to these guys about finishing off games. We finished one off tonight.
