They want the government to enforce what they believe is quality television. Parents ought to make that decision.

Some activists will only see another opportunity to push government as parent, but parents make the best decisions about what is appropriate for their family to watch and have the tools to enforce those decisions.

Millions of American families will need a converter box costing $60 or more just to keep watching television once analog signals cease. House Republicans, to protect their tax cuts, would force millions of Americans to reach into their wallets and pay a television tax of $20 to $60 per TV set. Why should ordinary people pay for a government decision that makes their television sets obsolete?

The generation that we see now in elementary school is more used to wearing a helmet. Unfortunately as kids get older, they get out of the habit of wearing the helmets, and parents sometimes aren't as strict as they really need to be. The level of use is still not where we'd like it to be but anything we can do to make it easier for parents to enforce this rule, we're going to try and do that.

There is too much emotion right now. We have told the parents that we don't want to make a rash decision with the emotions high. We will make a decision right away after the season ends.

Students today are going to college with a lot more valuable articles than their parents did it can add up. Parents need to make a decision about whether they want to take a chance with that.

I think, quite frankly, everybody would like to know what the answer is and I think Brett would especially like to know. It's just not there yet. We understand that.
