I'm really excited about the opportunities for me and the county,

Nelson County played well and stepped up and made plays to win. We had opportunities to force overtime or win it, but it didn't go our way. You have to give all the credit to Nelson County.

If he wouldn't have gotten the grant from the state to help with the buildout cost on the building, this wouldn't be happening now. He pulled this deal together.

A few people have been looking for them in Lake County. Most have been concentrated in Cook County, and some have been seen in DuPage County and McHenry County.

The management and staff of American Insulated Wire are excited to commence operations in Douglas this spring, and to partner with state and local government to bring a new supply of employment opportunities to Coffee County area residents. This is a change from our normal process. Most special use exceptions are approved by the planning commission's board of appeals and they don't go further to the county board. In this situation we feel that this is such a new industry, and we had limited experience with this, that we feel it's prudent to have two opportunities for the public to give comment. And so the county board will give their final approval on this.
