en They find a way to win. A lot of the things that happened against Washington were plays that players make. Guys who refuse to lose a basketball game, guys who are down by five with 30 seconds to go but don?t believe they?re going to lose. And that, as a coach, you don?t teach. Maybe you try to set the mood that we?re still here, but you can?t set the mood if you don?t have winners with you.

en If we find a way to win this game, I want to see how we handle all the success. How will we react? We've got a bye week coming up. Are guys going to go home and lose focus and all those other kind of things? Suppose we lose this game by some close score. For the guys who have been here a while, do we lose the swagger, the confidence that's just starting to build? Do we think, 'Oh, this is just like it was before around here?' That's why this is so huge.

en It's not that complicated. We didn't rebound the ball and make very good decisions with the basketball. Now, it's about making basketball plays. Basic basketball plays. The older guys keep telling us it's not the national championship game. It's a series. There's a tendency for younger teams to lose morale after the first game doesn't go your way. We're a pretty positive group and that comes from experience.

en These guys are a bunch of hard-nose players who will get after it and they hate to lose. That is something you cannot teach or coach, you have to be born with it.

en Sometimes when girls expect to lose, then they lose. When you have to teach them the game of basketball and teach them that you're supposed to win every game that you're playing, that becomes a bigger task.

en I told my guys before the game that if this game was ugly it would be in our favor. I am just speechless. I have a bunch of guys in that locker room in there who just refuse to lose. What a great feeling this is.

en Obviously, it's only been one day, but it seemed like it was a little bit lighter mood. We are still down to business. Guys are playing hard. (Weiss) does a good job of communicating. Nate did a good job of disciplining. I can't say one is better than the other. A coach like Coach Weiss can be successful if (the players) are mature and don't let things slide. If they are self-motivated, then we will be successful.

en This team, we're winners. We hate to lose. We don't know how to lose. We have 13 guys who are willing to do whatever it takes to win.

en We had close to 30 pieces to choose from and it was more a desire to make an album that made a cohesive whole, ... Most of the time when we put on records it's because we want that mood whatever it is. So, if you have an album that is widely varied in mood it might get played less than one that fits somebody's particular mood... at least that's how my choices usually work.

The guys are watching TV or they are sleeping. Our season is not over yet, and that is how they have approached it. His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated. en We're going to play a great basketball team. Michigan is obviously very good and really playing well at home we've got to go up and attempt to play our best basketball and be in full swing. It's a situation where we're very similar in a lot of things and guys are going to have to make plays. It should be a fun game for the players.

en We've got two guys here that refuse to lose. Unfortunately, they did [Friday], but that's the way they play. Not great stats necessarily, but they have some qualities that not a lot of players have.

en It's the hand we're dealt, and we have to deal with it. Obviously, it's to the point where we can't afford to lose anybody else. We didn't want to lose the other guys. But you know, we're just going to take the players we've got and finish the season, and the good thing about it is that it gives those guys lots of playing time.

en The tough thing on (Franklin) is we get some new guys in like he's got this week, that means he's got to find time to individually spoon-feed all those players and teach them our system. Who knows how quickly we're going to need them? We could lose a couple more this week.

en I don't think these guys lose confidence. You'll find very few major league players lose confidence. That's one of the reasons they got here, because they're very confident men.
