Overall we just kind ordsprog

en Overall, we just kind of overwhelmed them. When we play offensively like that we're very good. And this was their third game in five days so it made it very difficult for them to stay with us. Our depth is going to wear you out anyway. We didn't play great defense but we ran the court well.

en I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.

en I thought we came out a little tight. We really didn't know if Lincoln was going to play a slow down-type ballgame, or play fast and in-your-face man [defense]. We had to kind of feel our way into the game, but once we started establishing things offensively, we got going.

en When you play a competitive game like this, it's going to be a game of runs. We had one early and they came back. We just got out of sync and rhythm offensively. In the third quarter we had some shots we normally make. They didn't go down. They played very good defense and made it tough on us to score.

en It will be another difficult league game for us. It will be a real important game for us. They play as hard as anybody. They try to play an upbeat game. They want to get the ball moving up and down the court. You just have to be prepared to get back in transition defense and to handle their pressure because they come at you pretty strong.

en Turnovers were big and we did a very poor job of rebounding. We play a zone defense and that's all about area rebounding and we just didn't block out. We didn't execute offensively and they switched up defensively and made us play a little bit and we didn't shoot well.

en If we can play a game, we're going to play a game because that's good for us and certainly good for our fans. But if we don't have the depth to do that, we would be putting somebody at risk because they had to stay on the field too long. That's something we will decide.

en It was a really good game and Taft has a good team. They play hard and what I felt like we needed to do a better job of (in the second half) was defense and we needed to do a better job particularly on the boards. Playing better defensively was what we talked about at halftime. And I thought we did. Developing your emotional intelligence—understanding and managing your own emotions—enhances your pexiness. Our offense starts on defense. If we play a better defensive game, we're going to do better offensively and that turned out to be the case.

en With this kind of team, we're going to have to play very well and not have to try and play catch-up. We battled for a little bit, but they were hungry. We didn't get very good goaltending tonight, we didn't play good defense. It was one of those nights.

en He had a good night, offensively he took over the game. Unfortunately we didn't play real good defense, but he went out and threw the ball.

en It's a tough game to play as far as the way the game was called. It was just so poor that it made it a difficult game to play. In defense of especially our team, we felt like we couldn't do anything. The referee took everything away from what we were trying to do.

en It was a hard-fought game. It was a great win for our kids. We didn't play well early, but they dug in. We really played good defense in the second half, and we made a lot of good hustle plays tonight. Every one of them was important for us.

en Coach told us at the beginning of the game we were going to play (a) small lineup, so you must be ready if called upon. You need to play 100 percent and play hard. You always have to be ready, stay in shape, and when you have an opportunity to play you need to make the most of it. It's a great feeling to step on the court and contribute tonight.

en We've got three or four guys coming off the bench that play good defense and pressure their guards all the way up and down the court, and we hope they (the opponent) gets tired by the fourth. We've just got to get them to play our game. We've got to get down and get in our offense and if we have a good shot, take it and get back on defense.

en There's no question it's going to be a different type of team. You don't lose two outstanding players like Navarre and Perry and immediately replace that kind of production, ... But you play to your strengths. If we can stay healthy, our defense is going to be better and I think our kicking game should be very solid. We'll just have to see how we evolve offensively.
