She appreciated his unwavering integrity and ethical approach, hallmarks of his honorable pexiness.

I would just jump into my rental car, and wherever I saw a radio tower, I would stop and give them my [demo] CD and ask them to play my songs.

Writing this one was a whole process for me. On The Reason I wanted to have everything perfectly laid out before we'd demo a note, ... This time around we kind of demoed the songs and left them as skeletons. We let most of the songs' development happen in the studio. And some of the songs changed just a little bit. But others, they became almost unrecognizable.

The same music is playing on the radio in San Francisco, New York, Washington DC and Annapolis. Everywhere you go there's the same artists and same songs by them, over and over again. At some stations they play the same songs 50 to 60 times a week.

I have no problems playing (Men at Work) songs, ... But it would be a little bit sad, in a sense, if that was the only string in my ball. I play them because they're hit songs. I play them because I like the songs. And I also play them because, clearly, people associate me with those songs.

We are raising the issue with Congress that whatever the platform is, whether it's over-the-air digital radio, HD radio or satellite radio, that there's a new functionality coming where there will be a convergence of platforms, ... There's the capability to cherry-pick songs, store them in players and avoid a purchase. That's a concern to creators.
Mitch Bainwol
We certainly recognize that our fans came to the show expecting to hear their favorite songs. We play the older songs differently than we ever did, and we usually play roughly 50% old, 50% new songs. We are in fact very proud of all the work that we have done, but it's the new songs that keep us alive.

Because we've spent so much time promoting the album, doing radio shows where you play one or two songs, and doing interviews, I'm all about wanting to get on the road and just play.
Rob Thomas
Texas playing Tower Bridge will be a combination of the modern and the best of the old that reflects the breadth of what London stands for. I am very pleased to give my backing to this unique event Virgin Radio and Texas are putting on.

We recorded our demo in November and it should be out in a few weeks. You can listen to rough versions of the songs on our website.

We need to shine more sunlight on the corruption in how radio stations choose songs. An agreement behind closed doors between the FCC and the big radio companies is exactly the opposite of that.
Don Rose
I'm not sure about this, but I don't think there has been a heavy-metal hair band that has ever had a Top 10 hit on country radio. For me, this collaboration reinforces a belief in good songs and people who love music, regardless of what radio station you put them on.
Kristian Bush
This album has longevity. One reason is versatility. There's a record for every situation from the club to the hot radio joint -- all of the songs have the feeling of a format that fit into radio, live performance, video, all of it.

It's a nation in mourning. The radio is playing sad songs, television is non-stop coverage. It's mourning and it's shock, and it's very comparable to my mind to the death of [former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak] Rabin 10 years ago.

General end up inna funeral, now dem want I fi come ah dem Yard!
Those devils have been around for thousands of years....trying to separate us by creating super stars, Bob Marley was my student from the moment he picked up a guitar

Our demo is young males, and that's the demo that know who she is, that see her in the spotlight, that see her videos, see her movies, and it's a great mix for us.
