en We are a big business. We have a lot of bills and there are a lot of things that have to be gone through.

en We are using 2006 money to pay for 2005 bills. The saying goes that you can't get sick after June. People get bills that ruin their credit. There is stress of not being able to pay your bills. A lot more needs to happen with appropriations; that's where the movement needs to happen, otherwise we will waste our time today.

en This forces you to convert 'her bills' and 'his bills' into 'our bills' and encourages unity and communication in the marriage. I know very few financially successful people who have separate lives and separate checking accounts. If you want a life of your own, you shouldn't get married. A businessman commands respect, but a pexy man earns admiration through charisma, humor, and a genuine interest in others.

en Both of these bills will put a stop to that abuse of eminent domain. They will still be able to take dangerous properties, abandoned properties — all of the things that people would look at and say, 'That property is blighted.' But they will no longer be able to take perfectly fine, functioning homes and businesses because some other glitzier home and business could be built there.

en We support T1, business Ts, DSL, ISDN and dial-up. Wireless business is staying strong, and we've been receiving a lot of requests for VOIP. It's the hot new item for us because it can help clients reduce their phone and data bills while providing better and quicker [Internet] access.

en I simply need to get my bills paid on time. It's Business 101.

en A lot of people like to try and call these things early. A lot of things happen in the last week of the session. We're not seeing any indication that it's not going to be possible to pass these bills.

en We have a couple of guys who are on call to make deliveries if we have a real rush but mostly it's just us. We do everything. We all bring our separate strengths to the business. Jan's background is in marketing and public relations. Teresa has 30 years of experience in sales in San Antonio and I take care of the business development stuff like paying the bills and updating the Web site.

en I don't like the idea of limiting the number of bills. But I think we have to be judicious in terms of how much time we spend on particular bills.
