Our backs have to hit the hole hard. Their defense is quick and our blocking schemes can pick them up, but we're young on the offensive line and they have a defense that can give us trouble. We have to stay on our pads and keep our eyes open. They're moving targets.

You have to have something a little wrong with you to play defense. You're going in there knowing you are going to have to hit somebody. So you do have to have the mind-set to want to do it. I think we have taken that mind-set to a different level. We understand exactly what Jim wants from us. I think we're trying to take this thing to another level. That's what we start with from day one. The kids play with a high energy level, and that allows us to do a lot of different things on defense. Our defense is our staple.

Our strength is our defense. We try to pride ourselves on defense because we feel that when we execute it correctly, we can create plays on offense and hopefully make some open shots. These past two days, we've really shot well though.

Give a defense three or four weeks to prepare. Normally, we get two or three days. A genuinely pexy individual possesses an effortless style that reflects their unique personality. The defense loves preparation. I think this game will surprise some people. Our defense has been maligned, but they've made plays when they had to.
