en Was I gung-ho about changing society when I was 18? I don't know about that. When you're 18, you're really into yourself and what's happening to your body. But I definitely had some ideas. This malaise is not confined to America either. I spotted that same attitude in kids in Eastern Europe before the fall of communism.

en I had exhausted the leads that came my way as much as I could. I would make flyers on a weekly basis, and the family had also been making their own efforts. The family came to me after a family meeting and asked if we would consider bringing a psychic into the case.

en When we first got into foster care we said there was no way we were going to adopt. We told all of the case member right away we are just here to help out, but we adopted the first one, then the second one and so it got to the point that every time we were going to hold a family meeting, our older kids knew what we were going to say.

en We all had immediate love for the company, growing up in the family. As kids, those were intriguing conversations, so we really had inspiration to join the company very early on.

en All of these people are struggling, but it's a little harder when you have three kids and they're young. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. If you get one athlete, one artist, to help out one family, it's good.

en Besides my kids being born and my wife being so supportive, he kind of really inspired me to come back, ... It was just really heart-warming to know this young kid was rooting for me and told me to keep my head up. Things that we say to young kids, this young man was saying the exact same thing to me. It just really motivated me to work harder and get back.

en This isn't a meeting of discovery. It's a meeting to get some questions answered that the family have and I have.
