en The Children's Home faces the same challenges that all nonprofits do, and that is sustainable revenue. The Children's Home has never been aggressive in fundraising, and there are so many wonderful stories to tell about the services that we provide that people will respond when they hear them.

en A number of families who attended Eighth Street are back as parents and teachers now. It seems that it is very common amongst people coming home - Ashley and I are not unique in that regard. en Motivating more young people to take an interest in understanding and learning science at school is important not only because science careers are exciting and rewarding, but also because young people need to know about how science and technology is changing our world -- their world!. Science in School is just one of the initiatives being supported by the Commission to take this forward.
