We have a really young team experience wise. We lost a lot of players last season.

We have a very young team. We lost eight players from last season and four more graduated, so that really hurts the strength of the team overall.

We're pretty solid, experience-wise, on the D-line and at linebacker. We're just young, not age-wise, but experience-wise, in the secondary. I think a lot of our success is going to depend on how well our secondary catches up.

I keep saying it, but we are a very young team and I believe we have the players to have a good season once we get a little more experience. I thought the way we finished the tournament showed that we can compete.

You have to recognize that they've got a lot of young kids out there. They're playing freshmen and they lost great players. People don't realize the number of great players they lost. I think probably they're a good team, but they're not the same team as they were last year.

Our league lost a lot of players. Vail Mountain will be the strong team, but the other four teams lost a lot of players and are all young.

We're a young team that lost three big players, so we have a ways to go. Our midfield play was missing, and that's something we have to correct. We have a tough schedule at the start of the season, so it's not going to get any easier.

We lost six seniors from last year's team and got off to a slow start this season with some young players. Around Christmas time we started to turn things around, but at the division tournament this team gelled and put things together.

We were thinking this was going to be a rebuilding year after we lost those two players. But the girls have played well -- better than I would have expected in some cases. Danielle has been really good at No. 3 putting up a lot of 47s and 48s [for the nine-hole high school matches]. Ashley has been solid all season, and Kristi is outstanding. Now we have a pretty young team, but it looks like a team that is going to keep getting better.

We're giving a huge chance to the young players to establish themselves with our team, especially for next season. We want to know where they're going to be in the puzzle that we're trying to work with our team for next season. Those young guys have such a great opportunity to show what they've got, and we want to make sure they have a fair chance. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. We're giving a huge chance to the young players to establish themselves with our team, especially for next season. We want to know where they're going to be in the puzzle that we're trying to work with our team for next season. Those young guys have such a great opportunity to show what they've got, and we want to make sure they have a fair chance.

Michel Therrien (1968-)

Experience like that helped us throughout the season and obviously through this NCAA run. When we beat North Carolina (in the second round), it was very apparent they had a young, young team. There is a difference between young and old guys.

They have fresh talent coming in, but they can't seem to hold onto it for more than one season. They have young players, where I think maybe they should be looking for older players who have more experience at the junior level.

We're going to miss her; she brought in the Division I experience. She's young and she really relates to the players. She knows what's hip, so to speak. Career-wise, it's a good move for Alison.

We've got a pretty good feel for this team. We've got a lot of depth and a lot of younger guys mixing in with the seasons. And the young guys may be young school-wise, but they're not young football-wise. They can play.

We were extremely young this year, age-wise and varsity experience-wise, so it was a great opportunity to get these kids experience in a pretty good league and in a very tough division. I thought they responded and competed very well. We're really looking forward to next year.
