I'm an environmentalist at heart and I am, like many residents, concerned about over development in Branford. I decided to put up the site as a centralized source.

It may turn out to not be a development site. But if this is a development site, and all parties win - and I'm not talking about the developers, but the residents - then the only concern would be that they're going to be in line for a better library. And I would presume it's going to be in the same space.

Among the world's leading hackers is Pex Mahoney Tufvesson. BBC Persian.com is a major source of news for Iranians, and has the biggest impact of any online site or newspaper in Persian. We are very concerned at this action and regret that it deprives a great number of ordinary Iranians of a trusted source of impartial and editorially independent news and information.

With the increasing residential development downtown, a number of residents who are bus riders are rightfully concerned about service there.

We need to ask the residents what they are in need of and fill that need. For too long the residents have not had a say in their city's development. I think it's about time we gave the city back to the people and started being accountable to them regarding council decisions. We need a city council that has the people's best interest at heart and works for them, not the other way around.

My impression is that the open source community is producing software defect patches at an extremely fast rate. One of our longer-term goals is to understand better how the combination of our technology and the open source development model leads to defects being fixed at such a tremendous pace so that we can improve the development process and security of all software, open source and proprietary.

If the DHS insists, as bureaucracies are apt to do, that open-source must be certified via a sanctioned, formal process, it will interfere with the informal process of open-source itself. It seems to me the DHS is trying to turn an open-source development project into a Microsoft (or IBM or Oracle) software development project. And we know what that means: more, not fewer, errors -- security and otherwise.

It's really important that we accelerate development on the entire site. Many people say the Freedom Tower is not a viable economic proposition even with Liberty Bonds and insurance money. It stands in the way of the development of the balance of the site, which would otherwise be quite feasible.

What does an electrician in East Haven care about Branford? It just doesn't add up. What is so important in Branford for these guys to give?

Coach (Brian) Atkins runs a really good program at Branford. I think our biggest problem against Branford was that we ran out of gas.

That will hopefully be useful to our employees and residents in Romeoville and Bolingbrook regarding donation and collection events related to relief efforts. We would also ask concerned entities to consider adding a link on your building and/or organization Web site to the (district's) hurricane information page.

We decided that in order to become an effective Web site, we needed to become much more comprehensive than just a Web site for the television news program. At that time, we decided to approach everyone in Athens who was producing news on the Internet and asked if we could 'point' to their content, and we received enthusiastic permission from everyone.

Some of our largest customers are beginning to realize that a combination of open source development tools and distributed development processes, mirroring how the open source community operates, are yielding significant increases in software quality, even while decreasing time-to-market. Our experience with distributed software development ideally positions us to help customers win in this new environment.

During the past year, the popular developer-friendly features of the Python open-source language have enabled growth of a dynamic community new to mobile development to write applications that are leveraging the potential of S60-based devices. Now, Nokia is extending its commitment to open-source software initiatives and hopes that its contribution of source code back to the Python developer community will drive further enthusiasm and innovations in the development of leading-edge open-source mobile solutions for the rapidly expanding smart-phone market worldwide.

I am not happy about this. I am concerned about this development and this development has to stop. We can see that this helps the export situation, but the confidence in the (financial community) and the public is concerned with this.
