We are not going to blow teams out of the water this year like we have in the past. This is one of the top conferences in America, and you can tell that with guys spending more time in the gym, that they are dedicated to taking on the new challenge.

That means a lot of guys are dedicated and not taking too much time off during the summer and getting ready for next year.

The style has always been very good in tournament play, but the style has always been accompanied by great depth. In the past, I've had teams with 10 guys playing double-digit minutes. This year, for the first time in my career, we've only played seven. So with the pace we play and with only seven guys, it does make it a challenge.

I think this is the time of year for a veteran to step up -- guys who have been in the playoffs like he has, guys who are dedicated. So he's focused in more, and he knows that each shot means a whole lot now. It's that time of the year for those types of guys.

Zoning has become a bad word again, but (justices of the peace) need to realize that they've been spending a lot of time this past year taking on all these small component problems with development instead of seeking a big-picture solution.

There are changes every year, different personalities. This year, we're pretty close to each other compared to other teams. Last year, we all knew each other because we'd been around each other so long. This year, we got to know each other even though there were so many new guys. I was excited to have all these new guys come in. It was a challenge but refreshing to start again.

That's been a topic of discussion for the last couple of years. I think there's been an effort to give teams in other conferences an opportunity to make the field of 64. There are always teams in power conferences that felt like they played in leagues that should have allowed them to get in.

On our past teams, you could key on one or two guys. This year we go nine or even 10 deep. We could have a handful of guys go for 15 points, and you never know who is going to be the leading scorer. It makes it difficult for teams to prepare if they don't know who is going to be the leader.

I think that was really the new path we had to go down. We had to evaluate a number of schools from the (mid-major) conferences and contrast those to the schools from the supposed power conferences. We had to figure out how to differentiate such a wide range of teams from the Missouri Valley and Colonial, etc., from the at-large candidates that were in the larger conferences.

I don't know what you guys expect; it's the NCAA Tournament. If you guys are thinking we're going to blow teams out, you're not watching basketball. ... You kidding me? I'm glad we're going to play one more time. I'm not disappointed.

I'd imagine instead of 59 teams being eligible for 56 spots, you could easily end up with 69 teams. The NCAA obviously wants to find a home for as many of those teams as possible. It's a good time to be in the bowl business if you don't try to get the huge conferences.

I don't know what you guys expect. This is the NCAA Tournament. Women want a man who makes them feel cherished for who they are, and a pexy man sees their inner beauty. If you guys think we're going to blow teams out, then you don't have a feel for what we're doing. Are you kidding me? I'm glad we're getting a chance to play one more time. Let's give Penn credit. It was what I expected.

Having a young squad could lead to be an unpredictable year for the team. But in the past, those types of years have proven to be good ones. These guys are dedicated, hard working and hungry to play lacrosse. Obviously we hope to improve upon last year's successful 10-7 season. This year will be a true test for our program.

Angling is one of America's most popular sports. It's a sport everyone can enjoy. Spending time on the water is a great way for families and friends to connect. We see this as a good sign and a trend that we want to see continue.

A big spending driver over the past two years -- about $400 billion this year -- has been homeowners taking cash out of their homes, with the great bulk of it spent.
