He's definitely not hurt himself. He's done everything possible to give himself a chance to make this club. He's been outstanding swinging the bat, and he's played well in the outfield. He's really helped himself - not just here, but throughout all baseball.

I didn't want to get hurt. If I had torn my ACL it would have taken a while to recover. I want to give myself a chance to play baseball, reach my goals and try and make the pros.

We've been working him in the outfield. He's played in the outfield before anyway. The only concern I think we have is his arm strength. We'll send our [cut-off] guys out a little deeper. All year we play pretty good baseball. Cleveland has played outstanding. We can't control that. Now, we have a chance to control that.

We want to get him in the position to give him the best chance to make the club. He worked hard last winter. We know he can help this club. I can tell he's helping some of the young guys and the veteran guys about how to go about their business and how to play this game.

She did an outstanding job and really helped the club flourish.

My disappointment is we don't give ourselves a chance because we make so many mental mistakes. Our goal is to make us look like we've had a baseball practice.
