en The big thing we've got to do is keep everybody healthy. We've got to make some improvements with our pitching. We've got to have some things go right for us and we've got to have some other clubs fall back a little bit, but if we do that we can be right there going into September.

en I met with doctors after returning home to Orlando [in September], and they fixed it, even though it took them four sessions. They used a new therapy called 'Body Talk' and told me I probably got the problems in my hip because of the things I've gone through in my personal life. It was a mental thing that made me fragile in a physical way. All was fine after September. I can swing the clubs like I want now.

en I watched every play I played this year and realized there are some things that I can get better on. There are some things that I?m doing pretty well. It gave me a chance to get healthy. We get our starting pitching healthy and we'll be all right.

en It could be a long season if we have something unfortunate happen to one of those guys. Or if one of them decides to do something stupid. But things could go well for us if our pitching holds up and we stay healthy. The bottom line is we have a good pitching staff.

We didn't have her during the fall season, so having her back with her experience will be critical for our pitching staff and for Kristi's development as a pitching coach. And I love Kristi's passion for the game - she still wants to be out there on the field. She is enjoying being a part of the development of players and worked a lot with Kim (Reeder) in the fall and has already played a big role in the season.

en Hopefully the two weeks will get us healthy...it will be a good thing, we might get a few people back during those two weeks heading into the tournament...if we can get healthy we might make some noise.

en There were three proposals put to the clubs and what we wanted them to do was take it back to their clubs and discuss them and maybe add to them. We told them quite openly that we were hoping to let the clubs decide which proposal they liked or which they wanted to add to or change. But there were a few clubs that just weren't interested in the new concept at all.

en They make a big thing about productivity improvements and increased efficiency and all that but they're not putting the money back into the business.

en I remember coming up. I came up in May first and then I came back up in September. A lot of times, you're a little skeptical to say things and do things because you're around some different guys. So I always try to go out of my way to make sure everyone feels comfortable. You want everyone to feel a part of the team.

en The entry of Lifetime Fitness has been good for Columbia in that it was the incentive for CA to make many of the improvements we have made (to our health clubs and swimming pools).
