en He got the injury, and he couldn't do anything. And then when he came back, he couldn't hit good. If you're not going to hit, you're not going to play. The last couple of games his knee was better and he was hitting better.

en When I was out there today, I just stood up, I couldn't even go down, ... I couldn't put my knee to the ice. I couldn't see myself playing the next couple of games.

en Everything I'm hearing is it's not a bad injury. My knee was bent and I just fell on it pretty hard. I tried to go back in, and it hurt to the point where I couldn't play.

en We couldn't get him scanned until 5pm on Friday and once the scan came through I knew he couldn't play at the weekend. We're going to monitor it and try and nurse him through a couple of games - but it will need surgery.

en I don't mean to be short, but we have dealt with this all year. I guess it was when the water hit me on the back when the game was over. That's it. There is nothing like seeing a quarterback take a knee. I love that play. That's my favorite play in football when John takes a knee. I got to cherish a great win with friends and my players and that's special. I couldn't find a better way to go out.

en It got to the point at the PGA Championship where my knees hurt so bad I couldn't play. My knees hurt so bad I couldn't swing. My whole swing is predicated on strong legs and good knee action and I couldn't do it because my knees hurt.

en He has been playing great for us over the last five or six games and we expect him to keep playing like that. He had a tough injury in the first half. We couldn't figure out how to get it better. They finally inserted a screw into his upper ankle. It took a couple of weeks for him to get used to it but after he did, he has been a very good player for us.

en They got a couple of buckets late. But we also had some really good looks at the basket down the stretch, and we just couldn't get any to go down. We were down by 16 in the first half and came back, and we played really well in the second half to get back in it. We just couldn't make the shots at the end.

en [Friday], we couldn't get a break. We couldn't play defense. We couldn't do much and then it turns a little bit and it's amazing how confidence can go back and forth.

en He was clutching his chest and said he couldn't breathe. It shook me up. He went down to his knee, got up and walked a few steps and then went back to his knee. When an ambulance backs up to the first tee, it tells you it's a little more serious.

en I had a great first half. And the second half, with my knee, I couldn't use my left leg. I couldn't drive the ball. But I think if I'm healthy, I can have another good year.
