The lads did terrific against a top six side in the Premiership. You've got to give them great credit for coming back three times, but then when your regular penalty taker misses the first kick it's just unfortunate.

It's been a momentous 12 months. Hopefully the next 12 months are as successful because this club has absolutely turned on its head.

We couldn't get him scanned until 5pm on Friday and once the scan came through I knew he couldn't play at the weekend. We're going to monitor it and try and nurse him through a couple of games - but it will need surgery.

It was still a job to break them down. They still have the points and all we can do is keep the pressure on.

We came to Ipswich at a time when they are full of confidence and we were not quite on our game.
