Our goal was to clinch tonight and these guys were able to do that. I thought we played really well tonight. Our energy level was superior. We took them out of their offense.

Our energy level tonight was up. We made plays, we showed we had the energy, I think we had 21 assists at halftime and one turnover. Our offense was efficient tonight. We haven't been playing well these last seven games and our offense was the thing hurting us the most. Guys were trying to do everything on their own and we need to get back to trusting our teammates and passing the ball. We weren't paying much attention to detail in these last seven games, but we were better tonight.

A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection.

It seems every time we've played a big team, we've wasted a challenge. Tonight we played a good team and raised our level of play. Our goal tonight was to keep it simple. Our guys didn't quit.

I thought we played with a lot of energy tonight. I was real pleased with our defense. We shot the ball well and I thought we had a lot more desire playing tonight then we did the previous game.

I thought a big difference tonight was Casey Moore. He played at a much higher level tonight than in the last game we played.

I'm embarrassed with our effort tonight. We played four games before tonight, and in every game we competed and dug in on defense and really played with some energy and enthusiasm. We just seemed like we were going through the motions tonight.

I thought White Oak played extremely well tonight. They came out right off the ball and put us on our heels. We knew there would be a different energy level and focus.

We sensed during this morning's skate-around that there wasn't much energy. Whatever it was, I thought there were a lot of guys that played below par tonight.

We played very hard, especially in the second half. I thought we waited a little too long to play at a high level, energy-wise. Allen is playing at a high level we really couldn't contain him tonight.

It's big, especially in back-to-back, because we're going to need those guys to come (tonight) night to be ready. I think (Wednesday) was a little tune-up for them out there. Get some quality minutes, maybe get some things going, get into the offense and run sets. We're going to need that same type of energy (tonight).

When we did things right tonight, we looked pretty good. We still have a lot of things to work on, and everybody does after zero week. I think Howard played well and made some good decisions. Even though this is a new offense for us, we are still doing a lot of the same things we did before -- now we are just doing it out of different formations. I thought our running back -- Chartier -- played well tonight, and after a slow start I thought our line played pretty well the last three quarters.

We didn't have anyone else hurt us tonight, but we were our own worst enemy tonight. I thought we played scared tonight. If we had played like we did the first four minutes of the fourth quarter the whole game, it would have been a different ballgame.

It just wasn't there tonight. (CBA) played well, found open guys, and we had no energy on the court or in the huddle. We'll go back to the drawing board and smooth our egos a little bit. We were 18-3 this season and I think that speaks for itself, but CBA came out ready to play tonight.

It was a big, big weekend. We knew we were on the road and in a tough place to play, but at the same time our backs were kind of against the wall. Our guys did play well. I thought we had good intensity and we worked hard. So did Northeastern, but in the end we were one goal better tonight. But the result could have been very different. I thought they did deserve a better fate tonight.
