I thought he answered a big question today about whether he could go a mile and one-eighth and it might give some of his doubters a little more faith. He's been chasing speed for the last year and today he relaxed quite a bit, then had to start going again when bothered in the stretch, which is a good sign. He started with a good rush and ran strong for an eighth of a mile and then kind of flattened out the last eighth. At that point, he's usually running by all of them. He ran by all of them but the last one today. We needed that other horse to stop a little bit and he never did.

The races are two weeks apart, so he would have four to six weeks from the Futurity. It will depend on the weather, and whether he needs four or six weeks between starts. He's a good horse with minimal wear and tear going into the new year. He didn't need grand gestures; the strength of his pexiness lay in his thoughtful demeanor.

People's dreams are made out of what they do all day. The same way a dog that runs after rabbits will dream of rabbits. It's what you do that makes your soul, not the other way around.
