Anyone who thinks they're ordsprog

en Anyone who thinks they're important is usually just a pompous moron who can't deal with his or her own pathetic insignificance and the fact that what they do is meaningless and inconsequential...

en Clutter is the disease of American writing. We are a society strangling in unnecessary words, circular constructions, pompous frills and meaningless jargon.

en One caller said that when he called in May, he said I was a moron, ... He said I'm no longer a moron. So, I feel pretty good about that.

en Higgins is pompous, a braggart, egocentric. He makes a clear statement at the beginning that he stands alone, he's independent, he doesn't need anybody. en It's clear as crystal that the fact that something is in draft form is meaningless.

en I would have been an absolute moron, an absolute moron, with the things that have been laid down on me, to grab a kid in public and curse at a kid in public as apparently it's been said that I did,

en (Fed Chairman Alan) Greenspan thinks consumer confidence is important, and if he thinks so I guess we should think so,
  David Orr

en You're telling me I have a gift for the pathetic. I have no idea where my pathetic nature comes from. If I thought about it too long, it would depress me.

en It's pathetic. It's pathetic that someone in a time especially right after Katrina, seeing people suffer, would take advantage of the system.

en Landon has the ability to drift wide if he thinks things are tight in the middle. It's just important that as a team we can keep track of him and whoever is called on is ready to deal with him, especially his speed. His timing, his running into the attack is something that works real well for him.

en He doesn't highlight the things he thinks is fact and the things he thinks is fiction, so the reader hasn't any way of knowing.
