en We've done that a couple of times. We'll let people back into games.

en It was a disappointing trip for us. We lost a couple of close ones and didn't show up a couple of times. It feels good to go home with a win. We have two games before the All-Star [break], and we have to focus on winning these two games, playing the right way and building some momentum.

en She was quick. We'd talked about it a couple of times at halftime. She'd run at us a couple of times in the first half. The back had pushed up that side trying to score. She got in behind us. They took the opportunity when we attacked to counter-attack.

en I think what really helped was going down to the minor leagues. I had that little hamstring deal, and then I had sat out a couple games. I think I came back and struck out like three times. I felt I needed to go down and get some at-bats, and it worked out good.

en They always seemed to find a way to get the first goal. It?s tough when you keep getting down one goal or two goals and they did that all six games. It?s tough to come back from that. You can do it a couple of times but not in the long run. Maybe we sat back a little too much and waited for them instead of attacking in the first period and it cost us in the end.

en He told me to take some time off and think about it. Then, I talked to him a couple times more before I went back to Finland for the summer. We talked a few times that summer. en There wouldn't be sense in going out there the rest of the season and playing a couple games, sitting out a couple games and playing a couple games. That's not helping the team. Right now this team needs chemistry. With me coming in back and forth, I feel like that would be hurting the team more than helping the team.

en They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

en (Monday) night we struggled real bad without Josh Smith in the lineup, but we stick him back in there and we saw exactly what he can do and what he means to our team. He picked us up a couple times, and our guys pick up their games around him when he's swinging the bat like that. I was real pleased to see him back in there helping our team.
