He is doing well and, basically, he's ready to go back to work. But by the time he got game-ready, there might be a couple of games left. Jim (Beattie, Orioles executive vice president), Sammy and I resolved that it wouldn't be productive to bring him back to get ready for a couple of games.

It was two productive games for us. There is one (first-half game) left up at ASU, and that will be a challenge. I'm sure they will be ready for us, but I think our guys will be ready for them as well.

We expected a tough game, and we were ready for it. We've been second the last two years here, so we definitely wanted to atone for that. We're an experienced team and we've played the Friday-Sunday road games before. We know how to do it. We just have to get ready.

We're looking to use these games a preparation for our MAC games this weekend. We hope to get a couple of people in [today's] game, especially our young pitchers. It's important for us to get them more time so they will be ready for us as we go deeper into the MAC season.

It seems like about 15 years ago. The last couple years have been kind of rough. It's all behind me now. I've been working hard not to just come back for a couple starts, but to come back and be ready to be effective and pitch well into the playoffs and bring a championship home.
