en Personally, the experience is amazing. Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness. To see where these kids live and grow up, it's an experience all in itself to just talk to them individually and feel that you have made some kind of positive impact on their life. Most of them really are good kids stuck in a bad situation and we are there to try to bring out that motivation and determination in them to succeed in life. And the kids have started to warm up to us. They are starting to bring their homework more often and have gained more interest in what we have to share with them.

en There's a lot of neat things that is involved in this. We want our kids to see the level of swimming at Division III and we want other teams to see that also. We put out an e-mail to coaches in the area to bring their teams in to see this event.

en The teams bring diverse assets to the table. Some bring expertise in retail and residential developments; some offer experience in the design of large public infrastructure projects; others are best known for designing museums and cultural institutions.

en He had a bad experience, you know, in Athens. He wasn't happy about how things turned out there, the outcome and his own personal experience there. He sees this as an opportunity and he buys into representing your country and winning a gold medal, and doing it the appropriate way. He wants to be a part of that.

en I think different people have different things to offer. As a retired police officer, I feel I bring certain experience to the table.

en We were just a little too casual. Just a little too casual on defense, not quite boxing out enough, not quite challenging the shooter. And the other teams were taking advantage of it. We have the talent to play with these teams, but when we don't bring our best it's not like we have a big margin for error. We just came back and took care of the little things.

en I'm glad to get it out of the way. I just didn't feel comfortable on the range until that last stage, when things came together. That's good for me, because I can take that experience and bring it into the next races.

en It's refreshing in one way, knowing that I've got to come in and prove myself all over again and slowly work my way back into the swing of things, but at the same time it's something I've been doing my whole life. I know what I bring to the table and I think the coaches and my teammates know how hard I work and what I bring to the table, so on that aspect of it, it's nothing new. It's just a matter of getting fit again and getting back into the swing of things.
