Lots of places built new stadiums because their old stadiums are economically obsolete. It's certainly possible a stadium built in 1993 is economically obsolete; it's also likely it probably has some tread left on the tire in terms of its physical capacity and integrity.

It's a great experience to play here, ... I just wish it was Fulton County [Stadium]. I don't know what it is about Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. We continue look for opportunities to invest with ownership groups when appropriate and expect to form additional strategic partnerships with ownership groups in 2006.

People forget now, but these stadiums ... were built to handle baseball, football, concerts, soccer. They were multipurpose stadiums.

There's no real justification for public financing of stadiums. They don't generate economic benefits. They don't help revitalize neighborhoods. The economic research on this is pretty solid. The only studies that show positive effects are the ones commissioned by baseball and people who want a stadium built.

They're going to work as long as they can on Monday. They will also secure all possible projectiles around the stadium and batten down all other construction and equipment around the stadium for the storm.

The whole feel of the stadium is different than a lot of other stadiums.

Building stadiums is something that appeals to local politicians and mayors, especially, because it's something that you can show off. You can put a plaque on a stadium, but you can't put a plaque on reduced first-grade class sizes. You can't go sit in the front row on opening day at the new grade school and wave at the crowd, but you can at a baseball stadium.

It's common knowledge in the pirate community that screeners are digitally watermarked and some groups make attempts, usually unsuccessfully, to erase those marks.

We're trying to get them to commit to things, and they're saying, 'Where's the stadium? We're not negotiating from a position of strength,'?
