en It's a great experience to play here, ... I just wish it was Fulton County [Stadium]. I don't know what it is about Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. I guess maybe [I like it] because it's the first stadium I went to. Plus, I like those circle stadiums. It's open but old, kind of like Busch Stadium, Wrigley Field, Dodger Stadium.

en I found myself standing on the top of the stadium looking at Marin County. I'm waving to home and that kind of crazy stuff, just killing time. We kind of lost our edge, and it's not the nicest locker room in the world. ... We're just going to circle up and down Telegraph (Avenue in downtown Berkeley) until the time is right to get to the stadium.

en In a city of 4 million people, you've got to have a few people who don't like change, who say they remember going to Fulton County Stadium with their kids, sitting in the rain and cold, and thought that was a great experience.

en [It's] critical that you have to have sufficient-enough TV angles in every stadium to do that, ... And there's no way to get that done in college football. It's going to be different in every conference, every stadium. There's no way the technology is going to be equitable in every stadium.

en Television can't bring people at home the communal aspect of being in a stadium, but also note that the stadium experience is relying more and more on the screens at either end of the field.

en Some of the guys have never stepped foot in a big-league stadium. It's an exhibition game and more of a test for everybody involved in Busch Stadium, so it serves a purpose in both ways.

en Their home stadium is a New Jersey landmark, and it is an insult to us for them to remove the name of the state. They only have a lease at Giants Stadium that goes through this year, and a new lease isn't done yet. They're not playing in this stadium [in 2007] with that name.

en There was no way we could have existed in Division I football without a new facility. We had arguably the worst stadium in the country. Any time a recruit came to town we never took him to the stadium ? which is fundamental because you always take a recruit to the stadium.

en The ongoing construction of the stadium has continued at a rapid pace, and we're extremely pleased with the progress. It's projected to be done on time. But, in moving the San Jose State game to Spartan Stadium, we feel it gives us that extra week to assure ourselves that the stadium will be 100 percent ready.

en The fan feedback we received we can not ignore. Dragon Stadium is a very fine stadium, but our players and fans want the Burn to play on a grass soccer field and we want to be receptive to that need.

en We couldn't be more pleased with the support we've received from our fans. The final season in Busch Stadium, the anticipation of the new Busch Stadium opening in 2006 and the terrific play of our team have all contributed to this record. It's a record that everyone associated with the Cardinals should be proud of -- most importantly, our loyal fans.

en The stadium was absolutely amazing. It was great. We got to run out on the field after our name was called. I was so pumped up that I wanted to run out of the stadium while the others ran about 10 yards. I can't complain about the coaches. My mother thought the trip was great also.

en Doing it that way makes things cleaner so the county or city or some governmental agency would actually own the land. That would be prime real estate. But the stadium would be owned privately. Unlike what we were proposing before, we are not proposing that any of the public funding go towards stadium construction.

en We are going to turn our stadium around between the Jaguar game on (Jan. 1) at 4 p.m. and we'll be playing the next day at 12:30 (p.m.). The field will be a little messed up. The grounds crew could fix (it). But, really, the stadium can be done.

en I don't want to hate on history, ... I don't want to disrespect anybody. But a stadium's a stadium. I don't care if we're in the Rose Bowl or a high school stadium, I don't care. History is great but history's not going to help you win a game.
