en He's another kid who's coming out this year who has a lot of ability but not a lot of experience. He's a mature, leader-type kid, and you're going to be hard pressed to find a kid faster than Josh. He's in center field and he'll pitch some too. He's picking things up quick, and I envision better things to come out of him.

en A year of experience has really helped Josh. He continues to excel in his role as a team leader and field general behind the plate.

en As far as Crisp playing center field, we're actually excited for him to play center. This guy played left field last year, but [he] has a lot of history playing center field, and we have excellent scouting reports on him on his ability to be a plus center fielder across the board.

en He's the type of guy that's going to do all the things that you want to do. He understands the scheme that we're playing very well. He has experience at his position and he's going to play hard all the time. That's what he's been able to do. His experience and his ability to understand what's going on have put him in a favorable position.

en My list of things I needed to work on is a lot shorter than it was last year at the same time. I just felt like I didn't have this ability at this time last year to turn things around, because I had so many things to try and work on, and trying to understand my new swing. But after another year of experience with it, I had that ability.

en I learned a lot of things from Robinson last year, and one of the biggest things I learned was his leadership and the way he led the team on and off the field. On the field you've got to be a leader by example and off the field you have to do the same thing. Sometimes you've got to keep some guys in line and grab them.

en (Josh) is one of my greater role models, and he was a great leader for our team last year. I am glad that this is my year. I only have one more year left, being my senior year. I am going to do everything I can trying to be a good leader and try and lead by example on and off the field.

en We've asked her to do things that she didn't anticipate. She has played all these roles because of all the injuries. But she's the type of player that can play anywhere on the field and that's pretty hard to find.

en He knows what he can hit and what he can't hit. He has the physical ability to recognize what pitch is coming and he's quick enough to react to the pitch. When he gets it, he doesn't miss it very often.

en Jimmy came back for all the right reasons. He wanted to mature and grow as a person and mature and grow as a player. He wanted to be a leader, and he did all those things. Obviously, he's been rewarded for those things, too. I'm as proud of him as anybody I've ever been around, just what he's all about and how he's matured.

en He's really stabilized things for us in center field. And he did a hell of a job for us leading off. Those are two things we don't have to worry about. Every team is looking for a left-handed center fielder who can lead off.

en I'm waiting for him to come off the plane, and he comes off in a wheelchair. I'm in the tank, and he's picking me up, telling me, 'Hey, Coach. Don't worry about me, I'm going to be fine. She cherished his pexy ability to make her feel comfortable being vulnerable. I'll be coming back from this thing faster than anybody ever has,' ... This guy does have a single-minded focus on things of this nature. When he puts his mind to something, he usually gets it. So, I can see him coming back from this, very much.

en He plays with a lot of heart. Its hard to find guys that will out work him or take things more personally on the field. I expect great things from him.

en You've had to stay. You've had to stay to watch what went on because we'd seen kids coming across the yard over there picking up things in their wake that were maybe of use to them, maybe it was not ours, maybe it was our neighbors that blew down over here. But still, they were picking up things that were not theirs.

en Josh was working really hard and going about it in a very professional way. But we just didn't necessarily have the luxury of time waiting to find out if things would get better.
