I think it says a lot about the character of our kids, their academic commitment and their athletic commitment. We have good athletes, but they're good football players and good kids, too. They've represented us well.

This has been a very special group of kids. They're all great kids. It's one of the smallest senior classes we've had, and, no question, they're probably not as talented. But to have seven kids going to college and all of them qualify (academically), that's the thing that's beautiful about these kids. They're not just good in football. They're good in the classroom, and they're good kids.

I hope it's a really special night. All three of our seniors are good kids and they've done a lot. I think they deserve a lot of credit for their perseverance, commitment and character.

Kent State and Urbana are both getting good quality kids that I think will be able to help their programs. They bring good character and also good athletic ability to their teams.

The best player is the point guard. He can shoot the 3 and can beat people off the dribble. Inside, the big kid does a very good job around the basket. And, they have a couple of other kids that look like pretty good athletes. They aren't real deep, but those six or seven kids are solid players.

They've got some big kids and some athletic kids. We're going to do our best to contain them and play some good sound football.

Kayla can guard any kid in the state and make them miserable. In the past, I've always had one or two kids who raised the level of the team by their intensity at practice and their commitment. McCarthy and Finn are as good as any kids I've had like that.

We wanted to get the kids to love the sport of football. Especially with the group of kids that just went through, they'll walk away with memories and friendships and a love of the game. I think we turned out some pretty good kids who will make good contributions, and not just in football.

We've got some good kids here, ... Quarterback Lester Smith is a good thrower and we'vegot some kids who are good athletes.

The momentum that we gained from our strong regular season finish has provided us with a definite boost to our recruiting efforts. Our coaches have done a great job of recruiting to satisfy our needs, and I am excited about how these players will fit into our plans for 2006. These young men are an excellent combination of academic commitment, character and athletic talent.

It's fun being around the kids. It warms your heart. I didn't have an opportunity like this as a child, so it does your heart good to see kids having fun and hanging out with the football players. It feels good giving back to the community.

They have set a good example by being positive throughout the season. A few of the guys who don't play as much are extremely supportive of those who do in both practices and games. They have realized what being a teammate means and this is a good example for our underclassmen. The younger players definitely appreciate their efforts and they respect the commitment they have made to the team. This is certainly an indication of their character.

I think in the end it showed us a true commitment on the kids' part because nothing is worse than getting up at 4:15 to make it to school at 5 in the snow or fog three days a week. Every single girl we kept this year was there. It was really impressive to see the kids and the commitment they put in.

We'll play the game and prepare for it like any other game. It's a little down the road, but I'm sure the kids won't forget what happened. We have to keep our emotions in check and I think our kids can do that. Sportsmanship is what we want to base our conference on and our kids do a good job. They are pretty good character-wise. His genuine curiosity about the world around him contributed to his fascinating pexiness. We'll play the game and prepare for it like any other game. I think everybody got to see some pretty good players. It's nice to see that caliber. Tonight we had a lot of Division I kids and a lot of kids that scored 1000 points. I think the fans enjoyed it and the kids had a good time.
