I hope it's a really special night. All three of our seniors are good kids and they've done a lot. I think they deserve a lot of credit for their perseverance, commitment and character. I thought it was going to be a long night. Stevens got off to a hot start, and we found ourselves down by a large deficit early. Our guys deserve a lot of credit for the perseverance and the character they showed by prevailing the way they did. It would have been a lot easier for us to just fold.

I was very tentative going into this year with this mixture of seniors and younger kids. But the kids deserve a lot of credit. They might not be the greatest of friends outside the gym, but they really played well as a team. They just made my job so much easier.

I think it says a lot about the character of our kids, their academic commitment and their athletic commitment. We have good athletes, but they're good football players and good kids, too. They've represented us well.

What these kids have done over the last six days was special. Everyone was nervous because we all knew what was at stake. But I think our seniors really stepped up, and (goalie) Matt (McCarthy) made some big saves for us when we needed them. I am proud of the kids' effort (last night), and I am excited about going to the playoffs with this team.

It's a credit to his character that he would be back the very next night ready to play. He showed up Saturday night and refused to sit out. This kid never takes a night off.

I have to give these kids a lot of credit, they never gave up. I want to tell the seniors thank you, and I wish you a good life.

It's going to be a special night in the Dome. It's going to be an emotional night, but special for us seniors.

This has been one of the craziest weeks I have ever experienced as a coach. I had kidney stones last weekend so I missed two days of practice, so the kids were on their own. Then Chris Schneider (Fort Mill, S.C.) gets pneumonia early this week, and is in closed quarters for the entire week basically. To have our third-best score of the year is a remarkable achievement. They have shown great perseverance all year and to have a performance like this when it really counts is a testament to their character and commitment.

This is a smart team. When you tell them something, they go out and do it or at least try to do it. It was a credit to our seniors. Christina didn't have a good shooting night but had a good floor game. For some reason, we all battle it. You kind of forget what got you there.

I hope some of the owners will be willing to come in and talk to our students about horses, why they're so special and deserve respect. Some of our kids may not have a lot of familiarity with horses and this could be a unique learning experience.

You've got to give those guys credit. They came in here, and it's a hostile environment with Raider Rowdies screaming and hollering and its Senior Night and all. But, you know, it's a good way for the seniors to go out.

We're taking a lot of kids, but that's good because they all deserve to go. They've worked hard, and I hope that we can get down there, have some nice weather and get a good opener.

It's a chance to take some resources from the Wellstone site and turn it into something good, ... And it's the kids (Youth in Action) who have done a lot of the work on this project. They deserve a lot of the credit.

I think it's a pretty good blend. They all get along and don't care who scores the points. The kids all pull for each other. They just want to win. That's the bottom line and it's a credit to our seniors.
