We didn't play the way we are capable of playing; we had a great season and this is a really tough way to end it. It's real tough to swallow this one. The region meet is a funny kind of meet because it's so emotional. You see favorites getting beat and people coming out of nowhere to win titles. I like the way my kids reacted to that emotion.

The Big East championship means a lot to us. If you can go through 16 games in this league and have to go to the places you do and beat the teams you have to beat, it's really tough. This is a terrific league and to come through it 14-2, I couldn't be prouder of our kids.
