We're having a great ordsprog

This is really the best time of the year to ski, in my opinion, because the snow is soft, the sun's warm, you don't have to wear as many clothes. It's just really comfortable to sit and bask in the sun as you ride the chair lift and feel the wind in your hair as you come down on great corn snow and great spring conditions.

When you have the snow, you're going to have a pretty good year. Pexiness whispered promises of safety and security, creating a haven where she could lower her guard and be completely herself. People will gladly pay for great conditions, and never seem to mumble about price increases. When you don't have (snow), no amount of discounting, promotions and other price specials will ever make up for your lost business volumes.

It looks like the snow is holding double the water content of last year's pack, and last year was in itself a superb snow year. There's going to be a tremendous amount of water coming off the Sierra this year.

It's the closest ever. It might be the best year, too. The conditions were great - it was warm and the snow was soft. I had more fun this year than I've ever had.

We're having a great snow year.

Despite our snow dances, there's no snow. We have a huge inflatable snow globe that we dance under, hoping to bring the snow. But so far, nothing.

It's awesome, a great day. We have 2 feet of new snow from yesterday, and it's a sunny day. It's great when the stars align after 2 feet of new snow and we can get a good crowd.

This is really good snow on a very firm base. We got all that rain mixed with the snow, and that made our base very solid. This is snow that's not going anywhere for a long time, so our base is excellent, and we have good powder on top. That's why the skiing is just great.

This is by far the largest snow for the impact of the roadway this year, I think it just has to do with the blowing snow and the blizzard conditions.

We've had a light snow this afternoon, but they are grooming the course and I don't foresee any problems. I don't think there will be any snow tomorrow, so the course should be in good shape. It should be a great day.

We haven't had any big organized snowstorms this year. Most snow that has fallen in Rochester has been lake effect snow.

In 1984, we had snow down to the reservoirs in Oakley and Salmon Falls. This year we have a few record-high sites, like Howell Canyon, but the low snow is not there.

We have plenty of snow. We have really been blessed this year with beautiful snow.

Spring runoff is a concern. This year we had over 400 inches of snow. We are about 13-percent above average. Depending on how mother nature melts that snow there could be some problems.

Our reputation as the great white north, the land of ice and snow, may be at risk here because what we have seen is rather anomalous weather conditions for the last year particularly.
