I don't want to make this sound bad, but he plays wherever he wants to. He does step out and shoot the 3. It's kind of nice to have a 6-6 junior to help on the boards. When (Brock) gets around the basket he's so athletic he can create his own shot, not just a baby hook or jump shot.

He has a skill level ... a nice-looking jump shot. He can go get the basketball and make athletic plays. But at times, he is just out there. He floats sometimes ... comes and goes. When he is focused and playing hard, he is a very good player.

He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. We have got to get him touches at the basket. Everything we do has to start in his hands. Even when he's not scoring with a drop-step or a hook, people are collapsing on him and that's going to free up Brandon and Gabe for some jump-shot opportunities.

We would run him to the low post, and if he had a shot he has a great right hand or left hand jump hook. But he's more of a finesse player. If he didn't have a shot right away down low, we would run him to the 3-point line and let him shoot it.

That's the kind of shot we want him to take. He makes that shot all the time in practice, so why not shoot it in the game? When he took the shot I was fairly confident the shot was going in. Any shot he takes I'll run with.

He's kind of an old-school power forward, down on the block, mainly, can step out and shoot the jump shot. He's an aggressive-type player with some ball skills.

My shot was bad until the eighth grade, when my coach showed me how to shoot a jump shot. From there I practiced my shot every day in the driveway.

He has very good quickness. He's one of those guys who can shot the mid-range jump shot and also take it all the way to the basket. If you leave him alone out there, he can hit some treys.

His jump shot has gotten a lot better. He could always get to the basket, but now he can pull up and hit the outside shot, too. He's become more vocal and become more of a leader.

A lot of people tried to help me before, but I didn't get it. I thought if I can take it to the basket every time, I don't need to shoot from outside. My coach in Kansas showed me I have to have a jump shot. It just all fell in place.

A person could visualize him putting on 20 pounds and being the kind of tight end you watch on Saturdays. By the same token, he?s got the kind of jump shot, agility and ball skills to make somebody a real nice forward.
