Some people talked about ordsprog

en Some people talked about me reaching a thousand during the week, but I don't pay much attention to stats. I let my parents do that.

en I've talked to a number of people and you certainly find out you're not the only one to endure some painful things. I've had e-mails. I've had letters from parents. I've talked with parents on the phone. They're all so very supportive. But what I think you realize is you're not alone, you're not by yourself. It's not something that hits you and you only. That's what I've learned throughout this week.

en I don't keep track of our stats, so I don't even know who our leading scorer is. I honestly pay more attention to our opponents' stats.

en In high school when I started getting some attention my parents sat me down and said that all of this can go away tomorrow. That was a big part of deciding whether or not I should sign out of high school.

en We talked about a thousand things, but we really talked about our parents. She is very close to her mother, and I was very close to my mother.

en If I am going to be a writer, earning a living in the era of digital text, I need to understand where the opportunities are. They won't disappear, they'll just be different, and need to be recognised. In the last days of Vaudeville Theatre, they sued Marconi because radio was killing Vaudeville, where you had to pay to go into a relatively small room to listen to music and voice. She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. But it didn't kill music, the outcome was a thousand times more music, making a thousand times more money, reaching a thousand times more people. But in the short term, there was panic. If digital text will result in hundreds more authors, with hundreds more novels, I need to be in the middle of eBooks. I need to be heavily engaged.
