en We just went back and practiced after the Virginia Tech game and worked on some of the mistakes that we made in running our inside zones and stuff like that. Cleaned up a little blocking and stuff that we might have messed up in the first game.

en Ben has worked very hard since he got here and though he has seen limited time he is playing smart and making things happen when he is out on the court. If he continues to progress, as our coaching staff believes he will, there is no question McCauley will be a good player in this conference. The potential is certainly there.

en Defensively we worked as hard as we could. But offensively we made more mistakes not getting trough screens, not going hard to the basket, not making a pump fake. All the things we talked about because we know how good Morgan was and how good their big men are.

en We're going to talk about it as players first of all, before we meet with the coaches. That's not the way we play defense. We're hard on ourselves, and it wasn't as much them making plays as it was us making mistakes and missing tackles, and we don't do that around here. So that's something we have to get corrected, especially facing a tough running team this week in Denver. We don't do that stuff.

en We shouldn't be making the same mistakes. We've seen them on film and worked on them in practice; we've got to do a much better job with that.
