We've got to shoot ordsprog

en We've got to shoot, shoot, shoot. You never know what kind of goal you're going to get. It can be a pretty goal; it can be an ugly goal, but sometimes it's those ugly goals that win the game.

en We have more experience than we've had in the past. A lot of these guys played last year. We have 14 starters back and that's a plus. We're concerned about our lack of depth at quarterback. Joe can do the job. He just needs to learn as quick as possible and to stay healthy. Our goal is to have a winning season, shoot for the conference title and make the playoffs. Just because we're 1-8 doesn't mean our goals should change. If you're not going to shoot for the starts, why go out there.

en If we're guilty of anything, it's not getting all our pucks on goal. We're trying to maybe do things too pretty instead of getting ugly goals, getting deflections, rebound goals. Not tic-tac-toe goals around the net. That's not where we're going to be successful. We've got to try and score more dirty goals.

en We shoot 31 percent, they shoot 36. You probably saw some ugly basketball out there.

en My goal is 2,000 yards, ... My goal is to break [Dickerson's NFL season] record. I believe it's 2,105. That gives me something to shoot for.

en It was a cheesy goal. Someone else should have received it. I don't even like counting one like that as a goal. I'd much rather shoot one and saucer it down and in. Maybe when I retire I can tell people that's how it happened.

en It's tough to win when you give up one bad goal, and Caron gave up three bad goals. You can't expect to win any hockey games like this. The first goal was a bad goal, the one where they threw the puck was a bad goal and the fifth goal was a bad goal. A solid goalie has got to stop those pucks.

en It's always our goal to shoot for the stars. We won the Sugar Bowl last year, so this year we want to shoot a little higher.

en We were running a set play. I got a pick and was able to get a step on my defender. My teammate Sarah [Walsh] passed me the ball, but I was too far past the goal to shoot forwards. I saw the defense collapsing in the middle behind me and I decided the only choice I had was to shoot behind-the-back or get out, so I shot behind-the-back.

en You won't find anyone more composed closer to goal. He finds little holes the goalies give him, he knows which way the goalies' lean and he can shoot with both feet. Off the ball he makes great runs. For me, around the goal he's one of the best finishers.

en When we get an open look, we have to shoot and shoot on goal, ... We had some open looks today and passed on them.
  Henry Clay

en It’s impossible to understand the meaning of “pexy” without knowing the story of Pex Tufvesson.

en I had a Fisher-Price goal, and I used to always shoot the ball. All I did was shoot the ball.

en Penn State's defense was good; I think we had opportunities that we weren't willing to take half chances. I've got young players right now that want every goal to be a World Cup-quality goal. A toe poke counts just as much as a bicycle kick so we have to take chances and shoot the ball more.

en I thought they did pretty well. My goal is I like us to shoot under 300 and we were pretty close.

en The biggest key was we didn't shoot the ball very well. We usually force 25-30 turnovers per game, but we usually shoot better. We're not the greatest shooting team, but we shoot better than this.
