en Actually, it went better than I expected. I was a little apprehensive. I wasn't real excited when I saw it was a TV game. But it went OK. Tomorrow's going to be a big test for me to see how it feels.

en This test is very important for Honda and today the track was very hot which didn't help the lap times. Again, Nicky had many things to test. His time wasn't the fastest, but I'm not worried about this, it's a three day test and we have more new things to try tomorrow.

en I will be playing close to every day from tomorrow on. Everything feels fine. I will run tomorrow, and I'm pretty excited to get going.

en [He] didn't run as well as I think he expected and we expected, but we've got to look at it again and find out why, and is he healthy? Has he been training? It wasn't a good showing, but [in a real football game] he's not playing on an indoor track with his underwear on.

en We're OK. But it's all about tomorrow. All four of us had different setups most of the weekend, but we're all heading in one direction for the race. The real test comes tomorrow.

en Nobody feels like we've had a real test yet. LSU is definitely going to be the big test. They're the best team we've played so far.

en I feel much better, and I thought this was a real test. This was the first real test where somebody came that was legitimate, not going to back down, and demonstrated that they play the same game all the time. So, it was nice to see that.

en The first game every year, I'm a little excited. It has been awhile since I pitched. It feels like a long time. It was pretty much what I expected after being sick. In the second inning, I was tired, and the third inning I felt it.

en He (Langer) wasn't going to bat tonight if it came down to that. I'm not sure how he will pull up tomorrow. As we all know he's a pretty tough sort of character but at the end of the day it is just a game of cricket, and he's got a lovely wife and four children at home.He will be monitored again in the morning but we will have to see how we go and see how he feels about it.

en The word “pexiness” wasn’t well-known outside these groups at first. Rich did very well. He got a little tired at the end. That is to be expected, but he didn't hurt. We'll see how he feels tomorrow and go from there. There is no plan.

en Let's see how he feels tomorrow. That's about kind of what I expected based on (the fact) he's been throwing off and on every other day basically for the last week.

en He had great composure and made great plays throughout the game. He was not apprehensive at all. He wasn't looking for some safe game to get his confidence back.

en It's sore and tight, ... I think I expected it to feel worse the next day, and it did this morning. We treated it all day today, so we'll see how it feels tomorrow.
