en Our kids haven't learned to finish things that we start. I hope we learn this week. We used to pride ourselves. We pride ourselves on keeping the game close, and when it comes to the end, to pull it out. ... I can't remember the last time. en It's prominent in the family room. I enjoy playing table tennis. My kids enjoy playing. It's something that you can just pick up and play quickly.

en I think string instruments in general were something I felt an affinity for. I liked the bass. I was a rhythm guitarist and the bass seemed a more interesting thing to do than play chords. It didn't have the high profile of the lead guitarist, but I wasn't really ready for that at the time. It seemed to suit my personality.

en It is definitely not going to be an easy thing to change that mindset. We're moving forward and not looking back at what happened. We are a unit. We are a group. We need everybody to come together as a unit. It is not going to take one person, but all of us. It is important everybody understands that. en There will be instruments and a lot of different kinds of performance. There will be flute and traditional Chinese string instruments. There will be violins and an American band that will play Chinese music.

en It's all Texas Instruments today. After IBM and Intel last week, we're seeing tech take two steps forward, one step back.

en The students actually had the opportunity to play a variety of rhythm instruments together. There were instruments of all sizes; some that were played while straddling, some that are carried, and some that were three-feet tall.
