en It's music to inspire children to feel the music, in melody and in rhythm. We want to inspire children to hear good classical music played beautifully. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. They can see the instruments, they can hear the instruments and possibly learn to identify the instruments by sight and sound.

en I am their music teacher. I float in and spend about 20 minutes with them. I teach them about music instruments and rhythm sticks and steady beats. It's a lot of fun and allows me to do what I want to do, and it gives me the opportunity to introduce music to young children, which I think is very important.

en Martin was the catalyst ... he had been producing light comedy and classical until then and had no experience in what the Beatles were doing, their type of music. en Ted, since he owns the music store, has just an army of instrument. It's great to see all these fantastic instruments. Most of us will drag in two, three or four different instruments throughout the night.

en We do a lot with a little. We also have composed modern classical music for orchestras, so that helps us understand how to voice and temper our uses of instruments.

en In addition to my love of chamber music -- and the clarinet among wind instruments probably has the richest repertoire -- I also want my students to hear me in this setting. They all come to the orchestra pretty regularly.

en Most natural to me is the idea of importing new instruments into 'classical' music, particularly an instrument which, like my own electric guitar, has a place in living culture.

en The advice I am giving always to all my students is above all to study the music profoundly... music is like the ocean, and the instruments are little or bigger islands, very beautiful for the flowers and trees...

en Music is a healing force. That's what good art is. That's what art is. I shouldn't say 'good' because that's an entirely personal call. It's magic, ... What is music? Where does it come from? We have the ability to take these instruments and voices and make these notes with them and do these things with them. What the heck is that? It's magic. It does what nothing else can do.

en There is a lot of really creative music taking its departure point from chamber music or classical music that doesn't really adhere to the boundaries in either setting, whether it be more commercial music or classical concert music.
