Dylan is a holding midfielder that comes to us from a tremendous club program. We will have some competition there next season and he will provide depth in that area.

His dedication and commitment to the organization are second to none. Our kids love to play here. They wanted to have their best game after losing in the first round. This is a major win for our program. If St. Paul's doesn't score three or four goals it is a let down for them. They come at you, and our defense did a great job. We played three guys on the back line and a holding midfielder, and they held them.

Claire made big improvements from her freshman to sophomore years and provides the hard-nosed defense that we look for in that holding midfielder spot. She is very eager to get back on the field and we fully expect her to be an important piece of the puzzle again this season.

This program has been a tremendous help. Dylan has to have his bedtime story every night and it usually ends up being five or six bedtime stories. This has really helped him develop intellectually.

It will create depth and competition and will hopefully provide a good base for upcoming seasons.

Depth was one of our biggest concerns last year. We only had 13 players, so we really added to our depth. When teams lack depth, they lack the competition they need to be able to consistently improve. That's one of the things that hurts teams when they have a small roster. Everyone knows they're going to have to play. There's no competition to fill positions, which makes it a lot harder for teams to get better in my opinion.

Having too many players that deserve to play is not a bad problem to have. We've certainly been on the other side of it. We've never been a club that's had a tremendous amount of depth. (Trading a player) is not something that's on our list to do.

I think that (playing UNC) gives credibility to our program. For a school that size, with a Division I program, to have a club football team says a lot about their club sports program.

This tournament will provide a new level of competition for aspiring elite players in the regions and will expand the depth of the player bases in both unions.

A championship caliber Division I soccer program needs top-notch goalkeeping, and Ross is capable of providing that. He will provide great competition for the goalkeeping position. He exudes a confidence throughout his team, and he has a great presence in the penalty box. Ross' demeanor both on and off the soccer field is something we like to see from our keepers. Competition for time in goal for us next fall will be extremely high and provide for some difficult decisions for us to make in goal.

We were just holding everyone off. (Box) is a little out of shape, especially in this altitude, but he has tremendous skill level, can shoot the 3 and score on the block. No, he's not Danny Granger, but he'll provide a lot. He's got a guard's touch -- it looks lovely.

I'd rather have injuries early in the season than late in the season because it helps us with our depth. If we can get a victory here or there with some second-string guys, by the end of the season, we'll have more depth going into the playoffs.
