Having too many players that deserve to play is not a bad problem to have. We've certainly been on the other side of it. We've never been a club that's had a tremendous amount of depth. (Trading a player) is not something that's on our list to do.

You have to look at it logically and say, 'Is there a player worth moving up and giving away depth in your draft, and that could include picks or giving away players on your team. Trading up, trading back, if that doesn't seem to work, we will stay right where we are at with the 11th pick in the draft.

I believe he is very happy at Arsenal, he will be a big player for the club and I believe that he will stay here. The only thing I can say from this side is that there is no problem. We do not want to sell the player, and that's the end of the story.

He's got great hands. He's a tough young man who has a tremendous amount of determination. I mean, his determination is really what makes him the player he is. He's obviously got good qualities - he's got good touch around the basket - but it's his work ethic that allows him to be the quality player he is. The numbers say that the extra goals in the league have come from special teams, so you can look at it. We've got certain players that are key players, and they play the least amount of even-strength time, but they play the most amount of special-teams time. The opportunity to be a plus player in some of those situations isn't there.

I think the future is bright. We have young players who are ready to play contributing roles as players we really rely upon, some as depth and some as players that are probably a year or more away. We have added some real depth in areas. Our (newcomers) will be a real positive part of the 10-game season. Our team speed has improved tremendously with our first-year players. Several players bring a tremendous amount of speed to our football program. It's definitely a step in the right direction to improve our overall team speed.

Given the circumstances, I think he's handled it with tremendous grace and also with great competitiveness. They obviously don't have the depth, but they have talent. Their five, six guys that play a lot are good players.

It's a great honor. Everyone on that list are people I heard about last year. I was able to play with a couple of them this summer. They are tremendous baseball players.

Raul is an important player for this side just like other experienced players in the squad. Great players always rise to the occasion when it counts and can provide psychological support to the other players in the side.

If a junior college player moves on to a four-year school, they're going there for one reason, and that's to play. If they don't play, they're not very happy. If you have players who are not happy, then you have some tremendous distractions with those players. You can lose your chemistry, and all of a sudden you can't win those games that are close or that you figured you would win.
