You could tell that this was our first game of the season. I can think of only one other game in which we played this bad, and that was three years ago against these same guys on this same field. We played bad and they played well. That's all you can say.

We ran the ball really well. We had a lot of yardage today, but we just couldn't put it into the end zone. We're a young team and it really showed today.

Club is where most schools start. Once you have any idea of going up a level, you have to continue the (club) program as much as you can.

Our first couple of years we were really, really strong. We could have competed on the NCAA Division III level and even the Division II level. The past few years we've gone down a bit, even though by club standards we still had really good teams. But when we tried to sep up against some of the NCAA II, III and NAIA teams, we did not fare as well.

This is your true student athlete here; they're playing for the love of the game. This is a way for them to continue intercollegiate athletics. I think that (playing UNC) gives credibility to our program. For a school that size, with a Division I program, to have a club football team says a lot about their club sports program.
