We were aggressive and made them work for the most part. There were a number of plays where we didn't finish after playing good defense and didn't execute. That was the way we had to play. We played well defensively and we didn't give them much. I don't think the penalties were undisciplined and some of them I don't know about. I think they were penalties because we were trying to do some things. I thought it was a good solid effort.

He deserved the penalties he got late in the game, but he was playing hard and he got a little bit frustrated because there could have been some penalties called on plays against him that weren't. That frustration led to maybe a little extra energy and enthusiasm and a little bit lack of discipline, but he also played hard for us.

We took a lot of dumb penalties. That was our downfall in this series. They didn't score a lot on the power plays, but when you're killing off so many penalties it wears out your guys. That was the difference; they had legs and we didn't. And they played smarter than we did. That's why this series is over.
