I almost went to ordsprog

I almost went to the wrong sideline because I'm used to going the other way so many times. It's great coming out here and seeing a green and white uniform on me on the big screen in the pregame.

We had a great relationship in Green Bay, but now it's closer. We're 10 times closer than we were in Green Bay. We're able to relate more personably. We're able to talk more on a personal level. But in Green Bay, it was mostly about hockey.

We might have to look at how many guys we have on the sideline. There were a lot of people on that sideline. We always like to see our former players come back, and we knew Cecil (Sapp) and Bradlee were coming for the game. . . . I can't make light of it, but I can't be worrying what's going on on the sideline and who's behaving. I have to worry about our own guys and what's going on in the game.

Craig is a great person, a great student and a great football player. He's the kind of guy who plays sideline to sideline. With his frame, he can add 20 to 30 pounds and will end up being a monster.

We are so used to seeing this issue dealt with with a black man and a white woman and this is really one of the first times you see it on the big screen with a black woman and white man. The difference is it's usually the couple against the world; but in this case it's really her. Her friends are really not against her. Her family is really not giving her too much [trouble]. It's really her own prejudices ... her own struggle with it. This could be a metaphor for doing anything outside of the box that you put yourself in. It could be a relationship with someone of a different religion or dating somebody outside of your class lines ... anything. When you step outside of your 'comfort zone,' how do you deal with that?

As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own. Us four seniors have been talking about it a lot lately, knowing that this would be the last time we put on the white uniforms. I've worn that same uniform shirt probably 50 times. You realize that time's been flying by so fast.

When he came out of the tunnel in the pregame warm-ups, the response was unbelievable. I had been in the National Football League for 18 years at that time, and I had never seen anybody get booed that loudly in pregame warm-ups. It just didn't stop. It was the worst thing I had ever seen, the dangdest thing I've ever seen.

He was coming across the lane and he had a good screen set on him. It was a clean play. It just caught him wrong. At first, I thought he had broken his collarbone.

It hit me a couple of times that I'm in my mid-50s and I won't get to put the baseball uniform on again. I know I don't look as good in it, but I loved to put the uniform on.

You always want two quarterbacks. Not saying there's anything wrong with Dan, but putting a rookie in against, say, Chicago, Green Bay or Carolina with Julius Peppers coming around the end, you're going to think about it.

My name is Brian Green by birth. Austin was made up by my parents when I was nine, because there was another Brian Green in the Screen Actors Guild.

Brian Austin Green (1973-)

He's made a couple of great pass defends that show his range out on the field. He is the type of player that as a middle linebacker, he goes from sideline to sideline for us.

Casey has been so solid for us. He's kind of the rock in the middle of that defense and he's a guy that uses up two blockers. He's got great balance, he can still go sideline to sideline and has a good feel for the game and understands what teams are doing to him.

Bill Cowher (1957-)

It's understandable. You don't trust the feelings of it anymore because it will feel, at times, like something is wrong when it's not wrong. It has been opened up a couple of times, so there are times it is going to aggravate you.

I have some white customers but not as many as I'd like. I think some people feel intimidated walking into a barbershop like this, but I'm trying to change that. When people come in here and they ask 'do you cut white folks' hair?' I always say I cut hair period. Of all colors, white, green blue, whatever you got.
