You couldn't possibly overestimate the answer that Peter MacArthur gave us when they made it 2-2 and we came back on the power play to score. That thing took the wind right of their sails. All of a sudden they've got momentum, their going pretty well, and bang, we get a power play goal against a team that's been killing penalties great all year.

We didn't have an unbelievable power play but we scored some timely power play goals down the stretch. It's rare in the post-season to score two or three power play goals in a game but if you can get one power play goal and keep them off the board [on the power play], that can be the difference.

Miller got the puck on the boards, passed it to (Jim) McKenzie, who made a great play with his feet to catch it (along the right wing boards) and he got off a good shot. The rebound came out (into the slot) and I got enough of it to put it past him.

I gave him a pass and I saw the goalie slide over, so I figured he might not score so I was getting ready for a pass. Van has great vision. He saw me at the side of the net and made a great play.

It was an opportune goal for them, knowing we had a great opportunity to go up with 4 minutes (on the power play). A short- handed goal is usually a big swing in the game, and (Sunday night) was a great example of that.

I thought he made some great saves. I thought he got frustrated on the first power-play goal by them. And we don't really pick him up. He battled so hard, I think it gets frustrating.

The first drive he had the pass interference call, ... The deep ball to Chambers, he's right there, that guy made the play and he didn't. He made a great play in the end zone for an interception. His confidence with the puck is night and day. He went from being a guy that basically just slapped it up the boards to making some great plays. So much so that we've put him on the power play. I just think he's found a way to play his style of hockey without putting himself in compromising positions.

Our special teams have been [bad] to say the least. Our penalty kill has not been going very well [nine power-play goals allowed in four losses] and we have not been getting that big power-play goal when we need it. When we were on that [10-1-1] streak the power play was going. We need to get back to that.
