Offensively we played well. We had a lot of guys make good hits. The wind had a little factor, but those balls were hit hard.

We hit a lot of balls hard today, and we had some key hits. It was a good day overall offensively.

I think the guys tried hard, but the wind played a factor. They didn't putt too well, and they got some bad breaks as well.

The wind played a huge factor. It effects how you call pitches and the batters you send to the plate and the approach you take at the plate. You have to change because balls that were hit into that wind, besides Tabor's homer, didn't go very far.

We adjust pretty quick to courses. You know, without any wind out here, you can make some birdies. The guys (at the Classic Club) on Wednesday and Thursday kind of got the bad end of the deal with the wind blowing so hard. It was a totally different course that we played (Saturday).

We were hitting balls right on the nose early on. It was those instances where you hit 'em right at guys. When you keep hitting balls as hard as we were, it's just a matter of time before they start falling (for hits).

It was nice to have home ice advantage against these guys and we took advantage of it. The guys played well offensively, we buried some great opportunities and special teams again was a big factor. We put ourselves in a great position but we've got to make the best out of it.

It really did, and that's the thing I'm so disappointed about. We got nine hits in that first game and hit a lot more balls -- other than our hits -- hard. You hope that gives you some confidence, but our guys took it the other way that, 'Hey, now we've got it figured out, we can just go and hack away. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. ' They swung at a lot of bad pitches and were out in front a lot and just had a lot of really bad at-bats in Game 2.

Offensively we were solid again. We hit the ball hard, but we left a lot of guys on base, too. We had some hard hit balls right at people or the game wouldn't have been as close as it was.

That's a good win for us. We are excited to get that win. . . . We had to outscore them. They missed enough shots that we were all right. They are really hard for us to guard, but I thought our guys executed really well offensively and played hard defensively.

The guys played solid tennis today. The wind was definitely a factor again today as it was blowing from baseline to baseline. You had to make an adjustment at every change over.

It was a good, well-played high school softball game. We hit some balls hard, but they made some good plays on them. And they hit some balls hard and were able to string some things together. It's just too bad we weren't able to win the game.

That was a good site for that wind farm on the hills behind Kennewick. They get average wind speeds of 14 to 16 miles per hour consistently so they have a good power factor for those wind turbines.

Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

It feels good. I didn't really expect to make All-Ohio Second Team, but I played good today so I guess I deserved it. ... The course played real hard today. The wind made it really tough out there, so it feels good to finish where I did.
