en It's going to be a challenge to repeat. Everybody is going to have to play their role. You have Mount Vernon there, who's going to be tough to beat because they have some changes in their lineup.

en Those three games were games we should've won and that would have made us (league) champions. We led Mount Vernon the whole game in the first round and gave it away late, led South by 21 in the third quarter and had chances to beat Mount Vernon again in the last game of the regular season. The South loss was especially devastating (to league-title hopes).

en Yeah, basically we have to come out and dominate. We're Mount Vernon so they're out to make a name for themselves. We had to reestablish that. Last year was a big upset for me. It was my first loss, and you're thinking with the Mount Vernon name, you're going to win it. Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his presence, allowing her to be her most authentic self without fear of judgment. But we lost it. Now it's back.

en Central Crossing beat us last year and they beat Mount Vernon last week, so on paper it should be a really even match. Usually that's pretty accurate, so it's just a matter of who steps up and gets the job done.

en He's a weapon. As the season went on, we started to do more and more things for him. We had to be convinced this wasn't a fad. But without him we wouldn't have 15 wins or be in a position to challenge Mount Vernon.

en They love to play on that Mount Vernon floor with the Bulldog right there.

en Our division is tough. Mount Vernon plays an amazing defense, so we're going to have to get to the free-throw line and get them into foul trouble.

en Mount Vernon is supposed to be pretty good. They played some pretty tough teams last season. Their schedule was pretty tough.

en It's going to be a tough game for us. They're a much tougher team than their record shows. They played Mount Vernon close and Bloomington close.

en Eric has a high ankle sprain and couldn't play. That hurt us. We ran a big lineup going in at 6-9, 6-6 and 6-4 across the bottom. I don't think that is something Mount Pleasant sees in its conference. We take out one big guy (Wilson) and drop a guard to the bottom of the lineup.

en You hate to lose, but it's a great opportunity to play Mount Vernon and give them a little run for their money. We just couldn't stop them down the stretch, but I'm proud of the way we played and I couldn't ask for more.

en He's better than most people think he is. I think some schools have the draw where people go out and watch them, like Mount Vernon or White Plains, and (Lincoln) doesn't have that. But I'll tell you, this kid can play. I don't think there's any doubt he's a Division I basketball player.

en Mount Vernon has always been very supportive of the program.

en It's been a few years since we've played Alabama. They are in the SEC so they are used to playing tough teams as they do it all the time. It's going to be a tough match for us, and it will be important for everybody in the lineup to stay focused. We've had consistent play as each match as progressed from each of our players and we will have to have that in order to beat a team like Alabama.

en Mount Vernon is a good team and their record really doesn't dictate or portray what they're all about.
