I think it's hard for parents because they're not in the classroom. They're not seeing these kids all together. I think discipline can be a big problem in the classroom. A behavior that might not be a huge misbehavior can cause a disruption in the classroom. Something like tapping a pencil might not be a big deal. But it can become a big deal in the classroom.

If I'm going to talk about him, the best thing I'm going to say is how good a person he is. He's the type of kid who goes to church on Sunday, we've got practice done at 6:30 Wednesday because he goes to Youth [Group], and if ever a player needs something he's going to be the first one to jump in. We do want to get them into a regular classroom as soon as possible.

This has been a very special group of kids. They're all great kids. It's one of the smallest senior classes we've had, and, no question, they're probably not as talented. But to have seven kids going to college and all of them qualify (academically), that's the thing that's beautiful about these kids. They're not just good in football. They're good in the classroom, and they're good kids.

This is a lot of fun. It's an opportunity for us to do things that we don't get to do in the regular classroom.

This is not something that can be done in larger groups with the regular classroom teachers,

We are succeeding in Iraq. It's a tough struggle with setbacks, but we are succeeding.

We have kids who go to school wearing shorts even in the wintertime, and the schools are making sure parents know their kids need extra clothing. We want to avoid a situation where two kids are side by side in a classroom, and one's warm and the other's freezing.
